King Street Progressive Club & Institute was founded in 1932 by Miners and Brick Makers who worked in Aldridge and surrounding areas.

Our club has been a success story in recent times by keeping its doors open while other clubs have been closing. In 2012 King Street Club celebrated its 80th Birthday!
